
Jennifer Ruef

Jennifer has experience working with elementary age children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families in the school setting. She spent 14 years working with students, helping them build their academic, personal, and social emotional skills. She has provided services to individuals managing symptoms or having difficulties related to anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, divorce, trauma, life stressors and transitions. She also works with parents to provide parenting support and psychoeducation.
While Jennifer has extensive experience working with elementary age children and adolescents, she enjoys working with all individuals. Jennifer uses an integrative approach and will tailor the therapeutic process to ensure her clients receive the best possible care. She strongly believes in creating a warm, inviting, and safe environment for her clients where they can grow, meet their therapeutic goals, and achieve mental wellbeing.
Jennifer grew up in Maryland and received her Master of Science degree from McDaniel College in School and Professional Counseling. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Gigi.
